The Lord is My Shepherd

THE LORD IS MY SHEPHERD 

Psalms 23 and my understanding of it.

Song; Safe in his Arms

The Lord (my God, the son Jesus and the Holy Spirit) is my shepherd (my provider). I shalt not want(I should not desire anything from anybody or anything on this earth)

He maketh me to lie down in green pastures (to have faith &submit totally to God, obey, and seek God and his righteousness). 

He leads me( God will direct my path for he knows the plans for me all for my good and his glory) beside the still waters (where I can  find peace love, joy and everything else that I need will be added to me according to God's will). 

He restores my soul( God provides grace, mercy, love and everything I need (not to feel hurt or abandoned)and all things are added to me). 

My cup runneth over( God is always with me and he has plans for me to prosper. He provides above and beyond I cam imagine for his glory). Yea though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death( My thoughts are not God's thoughts. I will have to go through trials and tribulations and God will be there with me. I am here to do God's will for me and to exist for his Glory). 

I will fear no evil( I'm not afraid of anything or anyone doing me no good) Thy rod and thy staff is with me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies( no weapon formed against me shall prosper) 

Surely goodness and mercy (think on good things. God brings mercy) shall follow me (God is always with me) all the days (everyday) 

and I will dwell( seek the kingdom of heaven) in the house of the Lord(My body is a temple and the Holy spirit dwelles in me. It will instruct, guide and teach me forever)  all the days of my life(for my entire life) forever and ever. AMEN.
