MY STRIPES

DAY 10 of 21 SELF EXAMINATION 

April 19, 2021

I am the woman today who is created in God's own image because of some of the stripes I have endured along the way.

Here are some of my stripes below:

1.  I was raised in a single parent home in poverty but praise God he provided me with a single parent as my Grandma who thanks to God made sure I had everything I needed during my childhood.

2.  I was accidentally shot in my leg when I was 4 years old but praise God my healer which is God saved my life and leg.

3. I tried out for Drum Major of my high school band but I did not win. However, I was the captain of our high school band.

4. I tried out to sing at my high school graduation but I did not win. Praise God I did not stop singing. I still love singing🎶

5.  I thought I would have my own children but God had a different plan for me. I have an amazing husband and we are about to celebrate our 20th anniversary. I also have 2 godson whi are twins and we had a puppy named Sassy who was such an added blessing to us😊

6. Some family relationships changed as time changes. There is a season and time for everything. All for our good and God's will.

7. My journey still continues "For God knows the plans he has for me; plans to prosper me and not to harm me. Plans fo hop and a future🙌
