LETTING GO IS NECESSARY

Day 9 of Self Examination 

Letting Go is Necessary 

Ecclesiastes 3..."To everything there is a season...."

Letting Go of ideas, things and experiences that I thought I should have had in life is not always smooth but it is necessary.

During this 21 day Self Examination that Iyalna mentioned in one of  her discussions, it triggered me to start the examination from childhood to adulthood. I even shared some childhood memories that impacted me. However, I realize more and more that was a part of my past. When I was a child, I spoke as a child but now that I am older I put away childish things. Jesus left his family early in his life so he could go finish out his life for God's purpose and so am I. 

I honor memories.  I am so grateful for lessons learned. I am even more thankful for all God has brought me from and that he is still getting me through. I am joyful for my present. I am hopeful for my future.

I thank God for helping me to accept his will eventhough I sure do not understand it. I find joy and peace in knowing all things work together for the good of those that love the Lord according to his purpose. AMEN.
