To Understand or not to Understand

To Understand or not to Understand...

"Trust in the Lord with all thine heart, and lean not on thine own understanding"(Proverbs 3:5).

There has been times in my life that I wanted to question God about why he allowed me to go through some things or times we he did not allow certain things to be a part of my life gourney. Now that I look back on my questioning and thirst for understanding, I realize that I should not question God because I believe God is working all things out in my life for my good and his purpose for me even when I don't understand it. The bible tells me to not depend on my own understand but just trust God to direct my path. My ways are not God's ways and my thoughts are not God's thoughts. 

God knew me before I was born, created me in his own image for a purpose and his pleasure. Therefore, I choose not to lean on my own understanding.

In the name of Jesus, I thank you lord for always being by my side to show me a way out of life situation. I thank you for doing what is best for me and designing plans to prosper me and not to harm me. I love you God for all that you are-- my savior, my protector and my guide. Please forgive me for doubt in you and questioning your approach at time. Please  help me to have a peace that surpasses all understanding and bring glory to you every day of my life. Amen!
