Celebrating 20 Years of Our Marriage

Who knew But God that twenty years later Rodney & Dorthea would still be married?

The Bible says, "he who findeth a wife findeth a good thing". Well decades ago, Rodney was hanging out with his friends, came to USC where Dorthea was attending college and met her. When Rodney saw Dorthea, he said "I want that one". 

Who knew she would become his wife and Rodney would become her husband But God..

On July 7, 2001, they were married at Second Mt. Moriah Baptist Church in Greenwood, SC where Pastor Adams officiated their marriage. 

Who knew But God 20 years later they would be celebrating our anniversary?

Rodney&Thea love God and love each other unconditionally. They choose to perservere throughout their journey. 

The bible says, the race is not for the swift but for those that persevere until the end.

During the 20 years, Rodney&Thea experienced many things together. Here are a few blessings & testimonies below thanks to God's grace& mercy toward them.

1. God allowed Rodney &Thea to be husband and wife as a part of our destiny💕

2. In 2002, they purchased their first home together in Columbia, SC where their dog Sassy lived with them first 10 years.

3. Two decades later Rodney & Thea still reside in their home and attend church together at Progressive Church of Our Lord and Rehoboth Baptist Church. They are godparents to twin boys now teenagers.

4. Rodney works for the City of Columbia even after 20 years and Dorthea serves in her health career after receiving her Master's degree from USC. 

5.  They enjoy living their best life, family, friends & vacationing to: Mexico, Bahamas, Jamaica, Las Vegas, New Orleans, Conneticut, Charleston, New York,  Georgia, NC,  Washington, DC..... Charleston.......
