I AM....

"Trust in the Lord with all thine heart and lean not on thine own understanding. In all thine ways acknowlege him and he will direct thy path" (Proverbs 3:5-6).

This is my very first entry in this Blog app on the 4th day of February in 2021. I never really wanted to be on social media but look at how God is allowing me to use the gifts he gave me on this new Blog. 

In my Blog, I am journaling my life experiences, insights, inspiration and lessons of how God shows up in my life. I was led to title my first blog as "I AM...." because I am sharing about me😊

I AM is bigger than me. With God, I am

I AM created in God's very own image.

I AM a soul in a body with a mind and the holy spirit within me.

I AM my Grandma's child BC she raised me with unconditional ❤.

I AM still the daughter of an African-American Mother and Father.

I AM an "Independent Baby" literally.

I AM an African-American oldest daughter of one younger sister and 3 brothers.

I AM a lover of God.

I AM also a godmom, aunt&great aunt.

I AM the total experiences of my character and life journey.

I AM a Survivor.

I AM a southern, skinny girl from a rural area who graduated from highschool over 25 years ago with about 90 other seniors.

I AM a work in progress.

I AM a confident, delicate, kind, diligent, helpful, determined and dependable.

I AM a Christian.

I AM a first generation 4-year College Graduate.

I AM also a Master's prepared Post Graduate.

I AM a recipient of several health advocacy and other service awards.

I AM a Rodney's wife and helpmate.

I AM an encourager.

I AM a Care Manager, cerified Health Coach, Presenter, Writer, Blogger, Reader and Trainer.

I AM an everyday & choir singer/soloist.

I AM available to do God's work.

I AM a lover of home-cooked meals.

I AM a lover of inpirational and volunteer efforts.

I AM evolving daily.

I AM........I CHOOSE........I HOPE..........

This is....................................who I AM. Thank you God for creating me for your purpose, pleasure and will. I pray that you will forgive me for anything that I have allowed to keep me from being closer to you. Please help me to be still, trust you and lean on you to guide me to serve in everything for your glory. Amen!
