HOSPITALITY
"Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for thereby some have entertained angles unawares" (Hebrews 13:2).
During my Sunday School class this morning, we were asked or maybe even challenged to show hospitality to a stranger. Ironically, I had the opportunity to show my hospitality to a stranger that same afternoon while I was walking in my neighborhood.
As I strolled down the walkway, I was waking by this woman and I gave her a warm smile of encouragement and she smoked right back at me.  You see this type of hospitality today that God allowed me to partake in required no words but just a nonverbal gesture of a warm smile to a stranger.
Dear God, thank you for allowing me to see an opportunity to be kind to someone without when saying a word. A gentle and warm smile ca n even touch the soul. Please continue to let me see ways I can be kind to everyone regardless of how well I know them. Please forgive me for times I hesitated to not respond at all to strangers our of fear. Your word says fear not for you God are always with us. In your name Jesus please help me in my journey to let your light shine within me to everyone that crosses my path so they can see you God  in me. Amen!
