SAD NEWS 😥

Sad News is something all of us will face during our life journey. It is how we deal with it that is within our control.

I just recently learned of some sad family news and it hurts my heart. However, I believe God is in control of sad, joyful and all news. All things including sad news work together for the good of those who love the Lord  and are called according to God's purpose. 

Sad news can become good news of how God is at work for his will to be done. Sad news can keep us humble and connected with others. Sad news can make us feel vulnerable or exposed. However, it may that when we let our guard down in the midst of sadness we are able to open up our soul enough to receive the biggest blessings. Sad news can move that pride out of the way. Sad news can be used to remind us to lean on God at all times. 

I think of sad news as a test of our faith in God because the bible clearly instructs us to be anxious for nothing and cast all our burdens on God. 

In Christ, we can find peace that surpasses all our understanding. In Christ, we can find comfort and strength. In Christ, I know God supplies all of our needs.

So whether it is sad news or any news my prayer is that God will guide us to what he is trying to show us for his purpuse. I pray that we are able to testify  to others about how God  works in our life even when we receive bad news or bad things happen to us so that God will get the glory. Who knows our testimony may even help bring others in a closer relationship to Christ.
